Nick Cannon is swinging back at Viacom after being fired from ‘Wild ‘N Out’ for discussing anti-Semitic theories on his podcast and the TV host is demanding an apology from the TV conglomerate for dismissing him from the show he created and also wants complete ownership of the series.
The show ” Wild N Out” premiered in 2005 and it’s still going. Cannon has been hosting the hit show for 15th years. He has helped so many black comedians get a job into this industry. Names can include Chico Bean, Conceited, Justina, JessHilarious, DC Youngfly, Hitman Holla, B. Simone, and so many more.
In a statement from Viacom ““ViacomCBS condemns bigotry of any kind and we categorically denounce all forms of anti-Semitism. We have spoken with Nick Cannon about an episode of his podcast ‘Cannon’s Class’ on YouTube, which promoted hateful speech and spread anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. ”
The host has had a relationship with Viacom since he was an actor on Nickelodeon in the ’90s, and into the 2000s with “Wild ‘N Out.” More recently, he’s been known as the host of “The Masked Singer” on Fox and hosted “America’s Got Talent” on NBC from 2009-2016.
Do you think it will be easy for Nick Cannon to bring his show to a new network or should he just rap it up and put it on a streaming service ?
