The Broadway League has announced that all productions will remain closed through at least January 3, 2021
Broadway musicals were first impacted by Governor Andrew Cuomo’s mass gathering restrictions March 12. The shutdown was initially slated for a month before being pushed until June 7.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo, announced in a press release Tuesday morning that travelers coming from the following states they must self- quarantine: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi,North Carolina, Nevada, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah.
As other states sees a rise in COVID-19 cases: New York is taking action to maintain the precarious safety of its phased, data-driven reopening.
Cuomo said that he would implement a mandatory 14-day quarantine for any person who’s traveling from states with high coronavirus infections rates.
