Kehlani is one of the best artists of this generation.

Kehlani’s caedance, vulnerability and growth shows why she’s this hottest artist out. Her flow is unmatched and it shows on her latest album, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t.

The album is takes you through an emotional rollercoaster and paints vivid pictures in our minds to see what Kehlani has been going through. I’ve been a fan of Kehlani since Cloud 19 and always knew the potential she had but, this project is amazing. She tells a story with the song order and skits, making listeners want to keep listening to see what’s next.

Last week, I said that Kehlani was my top five favorite artists of all time. My friend said, “Oh she really like that?,” – after listening to the “Outro,” he said he believed she was the best of all time. Kehlani gave us everything on this album. She explained everything to us. If you wondered why her and YG broke up, she tells us. Respect her craft as an artist, forgive her for her mistakes and move on from the part.

Favorite tracks

Can I featuring Tory Lanez
I love the Aaliyah reference in the hook. When I heard this I screamed.

Water
This song is just a vibe. It’s been on repeat all weekend.

Serial Lover
Relatable, the sample is everything. It’s such a 90’s vibe and she just flowing. Her flow is just unmatched honestly.

Change Your Life featuring Jhene Aiko
I just love these two queens on a track together. This is a collab we deserved in 2020.
