In hence of everything that’s going on, the coronavirus taking over our minds and possibly, losing our minds due to the immense amount of time spent in the house – DJ D-Nice made over 100,000 happy.
Bronx, New York native DJ D-Nice is man of many titles such as DJ, rapper, producer and photographer. D-Nice curated a virtual party Homeschoolin: Social Distancing Dance Party March 18,2020 and in four days has surpassed over 100,000 viewers.
“I can’t believe that I started the Home School social distancing dance party just four days ago and it’s become a place for us to virtually dance together and stay connected,” he wrote on Instagram hours before his set. “From my kitchen, I’m able to send positive vibrations to each of you. Thank you for rocking with me.”
He took everyone through each genre and decade, bringing individuals together through Instagram live. The IG Live party had many public figures in attendance such as Michelle Obama, Oprah, Steph Curry, Diddy, Will Smith, Ellen DeGeneres, Bruno Mars and more.
As the night came to a close, D-Nice played a new song from Childish Gambino titled “To Be Beautiful” and ended the night with Usher, Ludacris and Lil Jon’s “Lovers & Friends.”
DJ D-Nice is having another edition on Sunday, March 22 starting at 3 pm PT/ 6 pm ET on his Instagram live.
