You probably want to know what has truly been going on at NYFW these couple of days, so I got you.
Not only did Caitlyn Jenner, Gigi Hadid, and Paris Hilton sit front row at the Jeremy Scott show; Scott premiered his latest t-shirt creation that screams, “I’m anti Brett Kavanaugh.” A political statement, to say the least. But if you thought that was the only statement made at NYFW from Jeremy Scott, you would be wrong. In fact, the designer focused most of his collection on words and exclamation–maybe a comparison to the current states of politics, in which we don’t quite know if freedom of speech is still a thing.
Moving away from politics, the front row action has been buzzing these past couple days. Cardi B showed up with an incredible figure (talk about a snapback), dressed in Tom Ford for their runway show. The artist says she definitely deserves to be front row at the creators show. “First things first, I spend so much money on Tom Ford sh—t, I deserve to be here,” the rapper said.“All that goddamn money I spent, it’s about time I’m here” (Women’s Wear Daily). She sure looked good in that dress, so Cardi, you deserve to be front row and you might be here to stay!
Another thing happening: Kendall Jenner will not be walking the runway, once again. When she announced she would not be walking for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, nobody would have expected her to pull the same thing at New York Fashion Week. Maybe it’s time that the first Jenner-Kardashian move away from modeling and do something of her own? Who knows! In the meantime, she spoke on The Tonight Show about Justin Bieber’s engagement to one of her best pals, Haley Baldwin.
