A project that was supposed to drop years ago, has released today in honor of #ThrowbackThursday and may I say – I’m not here for it.

Veteran artists need to realize that some projects, if not released timely, should stay unreleased. The first song of the tap threw me off and it’s titled, “He Rap He Sang.” T-Pain enters the song saying, “Wayne, Imma hold you down on this rap sh*t mane.” T-Pain raps his verse, then Wayne comes onto the track – but raps the whole time, defeating the purpose of the song’s title.

The best song from “T-Wayne” would be “Wasit of a Wasp,” and “Snap Ya Fangas” where both of the artists’ head back to their original sound and the beat is very 2000s, but I like it! I miss both as artists, but they should’ve took more time on the project and re-did the songs.

Interesting thing about “T-Wayne” was “Breath” which happens to have the same beat as Nicki Minaj’s “Did It On Em” debuting off her first album Pink Friday (2009). Possibly Wayne gave her the song, because “Can’t Believe It” came out in 2008 and “T-Wayne” projected to drop 2008 or 2009.

T-Pain & Lil Wayne’s T-Wayne Tracklist
1. “He Rap He Sang”
2. “Listen to Me”
4. “Waist of a Wasp”
5. “Oh Yeah”
6. “Breathe”
7. “Snap Ya Fangas”
8. “Heavy Chevy”

Check out “T-Wayne” below and let us know if you’re feeling it!
