Redsox defeat Dodgers 9-6 in World Series Game 4

The Boston Redsox defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 9-6 in game 4 of the World Series. Boston is now within one win from capturing the 2018 World Series title.

Things started off slow, but the Dodgers fired first by scoring 4 runs in the 6th inning. First on a error by the Redsox which brought in 1 run, then on a Yasiel Puig 3 run home run to take the lead 4-0.

Boston immediately responded in the 7th inning, by scoring three runs of their own on a Mitch Moreland home run.

The Redsox would tie it up in the 8th on a solo home run by Steve Pearce.

Boston would score 5 runs in the 9th inning. First on a Rafael Devers single, then on a Steve Pearce double, and finally on a Xander Bogaerts single to make it 9-4.

The Dodgers had one last opportunity in the bottom of the 9th, but were only able to add two more runs to make the final 9-6.

The Redsox lead the series 3-1. Game 5 will be Sunday in Los Angeles.
