Redsox defeat Dodgers 4-2 in Game 2 of World Series

The Boston Redsox are now just 2 wins away from winning the World Series after defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-2 in game 2.

The Redsox started things off on a Ian Kinsler rbi single in the second inning to take a 1-0 lead.

The Dodgers would score 2 runs in the 4th inning, first on a Matt Kemp sacrifice fly, then on a Yasiel Puig single to make it 2-1.

Boston would immediately respond by scoring 3 runs in the 5th inning. Dodgers pitcher Ryan Madson would walk Steve Pearce while the bases were loaded to bring in a run. J.D. Martinez would hit a single driving in 2 more runs making it 4-2 which was the final score.

The Redsox pitchers would retire 16 straight Dodger hitters to close out the game.

Game 3 will be on Friday in Los Angeles.
