Rams defeat Chiefs 54-51 in a record setting Monday Night Football game

The Chiefs and Rams squared off in a Monday Night football game that lived up to the hype. Both teams came into the game with a 9-1 record, good for the best in the league alongside the Saints, who were also 9-1. No lead was safe till the final whistle.

The Rams came out on top 54-51 in the Monday Night shootout, leaving everyone wondering, could these teams potentially meet up again in February?

The game was the highest scoring Monday Night football game with a combined 105 points. This was also the first time in NFL history a team lost a game after scoring 50+ points. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw 6 touchdown passes, which was also a Monday Night Football record.
