Jordan Peele has been on a roll and he does not plan on slowing down any time soon. After directing the super successful movie, “Get Out”, the former “Key & Peele” star is moving on to serve as one of the Executive Producers for the new television series, “Lovecraft Country”.

The HBO show follows the journey of a 25-year-old named Atticus Black, who along with his friend Letita and Uncle George, goes searching for his missing father. The series is set in the Jim Crow era and they have to overcome the horrors of terrorism and racism along the way.

The story is based on Matt Ruff’s 2016 horror novel of the same name. “Underground” Executive Producer, Misha Green, will write for and serve as serve a show runner the project and J.J. Abrams and Ben Stephenson will also serve as Executive Producers.

I’m definitely here for Peele’s drive to put these stories out there. I mean, I don’t know what’s scarier than the Jim Crow era, so this is definitely going to be another must-see. The series doesn’t have a premier date yet, but we will keep you guys in the loop.
