After announcing that “Culture 2” will drop sometime in January, Migos put out their second Pharrell-assisted single for the album, “Stir Fry”.
In true Migos fashion, the ATL trio makes several references to whipping up drugs in the kitchen through food, with cooking stir fry being the main reference. “Stir Fry” is different from Migos’ typical trap tracks, as The Neptunes producer puts his own influences on the song. The N.E.R.D. member co-wrote and produced the song, and that is evident with the smooth starry production. He also added in The Mohawak’s widely sampled hit, “The Champ”.
They released their first single “Motorsport” in October featuring today’s leading ladies of hip-hop, Cardi B and Nicki Minaj. With “Culture” being a big success, especially with their hit single “Bad & Boujee”, the pressure is on for Migos to deliver again.
We will continue to keep you guys posted on the album. Check out the song below and let us know what you think.
