This new track, originally teased back in September, has finally been released.

Lil Ui Vert had a phenomenal year in 2017. He had his No. 1 single “XO Tour Lif3” and finally dropped his debut album “Luv Is Rage 2.” He’s been laying low for the last few months, outside of releasing the visual for his collab with Nicki Minaj “The Way Life Goes (Remix), but now he’s back with his brand new single “Mood.”

The new track is a collaborative effort between him and 808 Mafia producers TM88 and Southside, both of whom he’s worked with in the past. “Mood,” Uzi’s first release of the year, is a mellow track that he flows over smoothly with a nice hook. “Fuck these niggas ’cause they always bein’ extra / All these diamonds on me, I don’t feel no pressure / Money comin’ in like I am an investor / She tried to take a break, but I already left her.”

Now let’s hope they all secure the bag with this record, because according to TM88 he still hasn’t received a check from his label for his work on “XO Tour Lif3.” In fact, the label, Atlantic Records, took a while to even give the green light for this single. TM and Southside then went on a mini rant for how poorly the label has been acting as of lately. We hope everything gets sorted out over there.

Listen to “Mood” below.
