Netflix Will Premier New Series Where Black Girl Teaches White Sorority How to Step

Deadline has reported that Netflix has gained the rights to a new show where step will be introduced to a white sorority. “Step Sisters” is a comedy written by Chuck Hayward, who wrote for the series Netflix series “Dear White People”.

The story is about a girl named Jamilah Bisho played by “House of Lies” actress, Megalyn Echikunwoke. Bisho is going to Harvard Law, and in order to get her dean’s endorsement, she has to teach a white sorority how to step. The show will star Lyndon Smith, Eden Sher, Alessandra Torresani, Marque Richardson, Matt McGory and Naturi Naughton.

The show is set to drop in January.
