Meek Mill, the king of Philly, has been released from prison and we’re praying that he stays out for good. The city of Philadelphia needs him! I always admired Meek Mill as an artist but, once I moved to Philadelphia I learned how much he influences and motivates the people in the city. He keeps them going and literally when the news was announced that Meek was free the city became better.
On that note, I wanted to list some of my favorite Meek songs and hopefully we won’t be screaming “Free Meek Mill” anymore!
Honestly, 1942 Flows is one of Meek’s best songs and favorite songs of his to date. The growth you can hear within his lyrics is amazing.
The Trillest is such a beautiful song from Meek Mill that talks about real shit that many people can relate to. Meek was rapping about his life and I know he thinks about this song all the time, especially after all his unfortunate situations.
Pullin Up ft. The Weeknd
Pullin Up is definitely a girl song and it was such a different vibe from Meek! This was one of my favorite tracks from, Dreams Worth More Than Money.
Dreams and Nightmares
No need for explanation. This is an anthem that’s not just in Philly but, everywhere. I highly recommend going out in Philly and praying they play this song when you’re out.
Jump Out the Face ft. Future
Wait, these two need to collab again cause this song was fiye.
Additionally, I’ll add some dope videos and songs that started off his career.
