Rising North Philly artist, Zahsosaa, has built quite a reputation in the city and honestly, has been one of the most consistent artists in Philly’s realm of artists.
Philadelphia has always been known for battle rappers, lyricism and breeding talent. Once Lil Uzi Vert began to pop, rising artists began to tackle a new Lane becoming more about the melody than battling rappers on their block. Zahsosaa was one of those artists that wasn’t with the battle rapping and strictly wanted to focus on giving his fans music.
Music wasn’t apart of Zah’s official plan, football was but, after the support of his hood, rise in views on his first official song “Never Switch” and sold-out concert at The Foundry, Zahsosaa decided to go full force with music. I have never seen an artist rise so fast, especially since I’ve been living in Philadelphia. The amount of support Zah has in the city is amazing and he’s still a teenager, attending high school regularly. When I first discovered Zahsosaa he was a little shy under 10K followers and now, he’s on his way to 40K.
He released his first project, Already Paid, this summer and has continuously worked making his first year in the music industry epic. To be able to perform at Made in America, after putting out your first project is amazing.
Zahsosaa is gearing up for his second ticketed concert, this time at the TLA and I’m definitely seeing him sell out this concert too.
