Last night, the entire city of Philadelphia and everyone watching last night’s game got to witness greatness. Nick Foles, the quarterback for the Eagles, made the city proud last night with the team’s win over the Vikings putting the team into a Super Bowl game for the first time since 2005. He has had an amazing season this year amongst all of the doubt many spectators have had against him, yet and still he’s prove them wrong after each game.
But who is Nick Foles? He was born in Austin, Texas on January 20, 1989. He went to Westlake High School where he excelled in football and set school career records. He was also a three-year starter and two-year MVP for the school’s basketball team. He was offered many offers from Division I basketball programs. Foles decided to stick to his passion of playing football and I’m sure all Eagles are glad that he did.
He then went to the University of Arizona where he would later graduate and be drafted to the Philadelphia Eagles. Nick Foles is the only quarterback in the history of the NFL to have a perfect passer rating and throw seven touchdowns in a single game! He is the man of the city right now which is why he is today’s MCM.
