The Los Angeles Lakers have found their new head coach in Frank Vogel. The deal is for three years. Jason Kidd, who was a candidate to become head coach, will join Vogel’s staff as an assistant.

Vogel last coached the Orlando Magic in the 2017-18 season. He did not coach a team this past season. In 2014, Vogel was selected as the head coach for the Eastern Conference in the NBA All-Star Game while he was with the Indiana Pacers.
