Our boy Kodak’s been pretty busy since he was released from jail back in August. Footage of him in the studio has been circulating around the internet and his first (post-prison) single is finally out. The young MC talks correcting his life, getting back to his money, and staying focused on new single ‘If I’m Lying, I’m Flying.’ Kodak either has two options, make this rap thing work or go back to his street ways and he would rather make this rap thing work. Kodak also talks loyalty and losing friends along the way during his journey to success and while he was in jail.
“All the people that were round me they ain’t have my best interest.”
Kodak Black is so heavily involved in the Hip-Hop industry that we tend to forget that he is fairly young and for 21 years old he is quite wise for his age. ‘If I’m Lying, I’m Flying’ really symbolizes the Florida rapper’s return and his coming of age, he’s made some mistakes and he’s paid for them and is ready to get back to work.
