This week has been filled with a lot of good and bad, so lets just get right into it.
Cardi B has shut down after hearing numerous opinions and statements that Offset only proposed to her because she’s not African-American. According to Bossip, Offset’s interview titled the “Color of Love” is where Offset allegedly stated, “[I proposed], because Cardi is real, she’s a good woman, and she’s not African-American.” Offset reasoned that Cardi B “her color ain’t Black,” and, thus, deems her just right for wifey type.”
Upset with the fake news and media, Cardi B turned to Twitter and let her emotions be known.

Cardi B was also able to put the drama aside and get some work done, collaborating with singer Ozuna. Check out the song below to check out the new single “La Modelo”.
Also hot this week is the controversial issue of the J Crew model Marihenny Pasible’s appearance in the latest item being sold. The argument is fueled by ideas that colored models are being limited and are made vulnerable. The opinions of people on Twitter the last few days have spoken volumes.
At the same, Dave East was accused of blocking Masika Kalysha on social media after she threw shade at him with a retweet on Twitter. Dave East quickly hit Maiska with a clapback in response. Allegedly, the Harlem rapper blocked Maiska because she doesn’t know any of his music.
Besides the drama and rumors that have been occurring between a few stars, there have also been happy moments. Beyoncé and the twins Sir and Rumi were spotted at their mansion in Miami this past weekend after Jay Z’s concert in Orlando. Beyoncé was carrying Sir and Jay’s mother was carrying Rumi.
Meek Mill was sentenced to two to four years in state prison after popping wheelies on his dirt bike while on probation. He was also allegedly in a fight earlier this year. Meek Mill’s prison sentence has been causing some outrage, because of his fans and criminal justice officials. Frustrated by the state’s decision, many fans and friends of Meek made statements and issued a movement. A petition was launched to help Meek get relief from his sentencing and it has over 300,000 signatures right now with the goal of gaining 500,000.
