It has been almost a month since Buzzfeed published the story, in which, parents and several others accused R. Kelly of being the head of an abusive sex cult.

The 50-year-old singer claims these allegations are “a bunch of crap”, but that has not stopped the Chairmen of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners and mayoral candidate, John Eaves, from calling for an investigation into the matter.

“A detailed local investigation by the John Creek Police Department has provided key information that we believe is enough evidence that gives the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office all it needs to advance a criminal investigation of the well-known allegations,” said Eaves. “I believe the citizens of Fulton County deserve this investigation. I”m going to stress to the [Fulton County] district attorney that a full investigation be done, because I believe questions should be answered.”

This also comes after one of the alleged victims Jocelyn Savage, who was identified as “J” in the Buzzfeed story, said in an interview with TMZ that her parents were lying about her being brainwashed and abused by Kelly, and that everything was fine. There were also allegations that R. Kelly was going to cancel his tour due to the allegations, but that was just a rumor.

This situation definitely a hot a** mess, and we can only sit and wait for more crazy details to come out.
