Jahvon Quinerly was one of the top players in high school basketball just a few years ago. He was ranked 26th in the ESPN top 100 and was selected to the McDonald’s All- American game, which is one of the highest honors in high school basketball.
After a rough season at Villanova where he mainly came off the bench sparingly, Quinerly averaged just 3.2 points per game. Pittsburgh and Alabama were among the school’s he looked at after putting his name in the NCAA transfer portal.
Ultimately he picked Alabama and is currently awaiting appeal to be eligible to play next season.
