It seems that after two years Fear of God and Vans will end their partnership after Jerry Lorenzo, Founder of popular Streetwear brand Fear of God, hinted at a Nike collaboration in response to a comment on his Instagram page.
From 2016-17 Vans X Fear of God had created some of the hottest and most coveted sneakers during this period. However, it appears that the days of Fear of God strap details and glossy “F.O.G” sidewall have come to an end and the two powerhouses have decided to part ways.

This all coming to light after a particular fan commented on Lorenzo’s Instagram asking if the vans would be restocking. In response Lorenzo answered “no more vans. Swoosh for ‘18”.
Rumors of the collab had surfaced back in September but no solid evidence until Lorenzo’s comment on Instagram. In September rumors also insinuated that Lorenzo would be working with Nike Air Prestos—which would be dope—after Lorenzo uploaded a picture on Instagram of a pair Virgil Abloh’s (founder of Off White) Prestos with the caption “foreshadowing”.
It seems that if you want to get any news on Lorenzo’s latest collabs just follow his Instagram where he likes to leak information. As of now, he hasn’t hinted at which sneaker he will be working with but it’s sure to be one of the hottest shoes in 2018 and one of the hardest to get as well. But until then, I’d suggest stalking his page for the next update on which sneaker he will add his Fear of God twist to.
