Cardi B, known for hit single Bodak Yellow and many others, had turned herself into the New York Police Monday morning.
Cardi was charged with two misdemeanors counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of assault.
If you don’t remember, Cardi pulled up to Angels Strip Club in Flushing, New York on August 29, 2018, where the charges come from. She was reportedly throwing chairs, bottles and hookahs in the club at 3 a.m.,” according to a police spokesman. Two bartenders were assaulted during the incident at Angels.
Joe Tacopina, the attorney for the alleged victims told TMZ that, “She continues to threaten them and clearly thinks her celebrity status is going to get her out of this. But it doesn’t matter if her name is Cardi B or Carl B … if she commits violent assaults she will be brought to justice.”
We will continue to update with details as the story develops.
