La’Myah Shanelle Relaunches Her Hair Line “Glambitious”

The making of HERstory was showcased well throughout the event presented by hairstylist and entrepreneur, La’Myah Shanelle Long.

Long became an entrepreneur after realizing that she had to work hard to gain necessities and niceties she wanted in life. Long looked to up to popular stylists, Chester, PA native Saniy’yah Samaa and Delaware native Quintoina Swiggett. Seeing how successful they were, encouraged Long to pursue her business as well in the cosmetology industry. As family members saw her admiration on hair, and styling hair, they began to help Long follow her dreams by purchasing products and appliances to practice the skill. Her father bought her first pair of flat-iron from a yard sale and Long began testing out ideas on herself and the hair journey began.

La’Myah came a long way from the $35 sew-ins, she now has an established clientele and now re-launching her line of hair extensions, “Glambitious.”

La’Myah’s purpose of the networking event was to bring together all dreamers, influencers and achievers of our generation. Her motto is, all it takes is a little hard work and support to move forward.

The event was held at Marcus Hook Ballroom, in Marcus Hook, PA. The networking event began with an icebreaker, where La’Myah gave each business and entrepreneur the platform to introduce themselves, and their brand. La’Myah’s humbleness was shown throughout the event and she was appreciative for the support and turnout.

After the introductions, food was served and the attendees unwinded as the DJ played hits throughout the night. La’Myah was so appreciative that she gave every female in the venue a free raffle ticket to giveaway three free bundles of hair. La’Myah began discussing the first name of her hair line, Exquisite extensions was her first name before she became glambitious in the second break. She then opened up the discussion for entrepreneurs and business owners to talk about to the process on how to start your business, problems with starting a business and names.

The event was beautiful and well-put together. For La’Myah’s services, head to her styleseat:
