Beyonce Blesses Harlem Post-Coachella

Beyonce wasn’t done blessing us after Coachella. Yesterday, the singer and performer said she would be donating $100, 000 in scholarship to historically black colleges and universities. And not only that, but the Queen Bey will highlight Figure Skating in Harlem through her sportswear brand, Ivy Park. The Figure Skating in Harlem Organization was founded by Sharon Cohen in 1997 and give young girls in the community a “safe place to practice their sport.”

Queen Bey shining the light on these women will allow the organization to give those girls the tools to get good grades in school and go to quality colleges and universities. Cohen says, “Beyoncé is a fierce, authentically powerful woman of color. She inspires young women and girls globally who look just like her to do the exact same—to be fearless, free, and proud of themselves. They idolize her, and she sees them.” We can’t get enough of Queen Bey and these talented girls! Watch the video below:
