The 2019-20 NBA season is just around the corner and after one of the biggest off seasons in NBA history this season appears as if it could be one for the ages.
Many trades happened during free agency having almost every teams roster shaken up.
Some of the main trades that happened were, Kawhi and Paul George to the Clippers, Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins to the Lakers, and Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant to the Nets. The Celtics also added Kemba Walker and the Warriors added D’Angelo Russell. James Harden and Russell Westbrook reunited on the Rockets to close out the mega superstars in free agency.
Although it is too early to make a Finals prediction, there are a few teams to keep an eye on as the season goes on.
Of course the Clippers and Lakers look like they could be the top two teams in theWest, you can not count out the Rockets and Warriors. Many people think the Warriors will not be successful since Durant is gone and Klay will be out for a few months. However the Warriors still have Steph Curry and D’Angelo Russell.
The Eastern Conference is fairly open. The defending champs (Toronto Raptors) lost Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard to the Clippers. Milwaukee, Boston, and Philadelphia are all teams to keep an eye on in the Eastern Conference.
This season will definitely be must watch basketball and we will watch closely to see what teams emerge as favorites as the season goes on.
